Privacy policy

Ledgx ("we", "us") is a personal finance app at ledgx.app. This policy explains what information Ledgx collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Your Google account profile. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We store these on our server to identify your account and manage your subscription.

Subscription and payment records. When you pay, the payment is processed by Razorpay. We store the order and payment IDs, the amount and the payment status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Your financial records. Transactions, accounts, categories, EMIs, lending entries and goals are stored on your device in your browser's storage. They are not sent to our server.

Google Drive backups

If you use backup and restore, Ledgx requests the drive.appdata permission. This lets Ledgx create, read, update and delete its own backup file in a hidden, app-specific folder in your Google Drive. Ledgx cannot see, open or change any other files in your Drive.

The backup goes directly from your device to your Google Drive. It does not pass through our server, and we cannot read it.

How we use Google user data

• Your name, email and profile picture are used to sign you in, show your profile in the app, and link your subscription to your account.
• Drive app-data access is used only to save and restore your Ledgx backup at your request, or automatically if you turn on auto-backup.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the features above or as required by law. Humans do not read this data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Ledgx's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

• Google: sign-in and Drive backups.
• Cloudflare: hosts the app and our account database.
• Razorpay: processes subscription payments.

Retention and deletion

Data on your device stays until you clear it or uninstall the app. You can delete your Drive backup at any time from Google Drive (Settings → Manage apps → Ledgx → Delete hidden app data), and remove Ledgx's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

To delete your account and the profile and payment records we hold, email support@ledgx.app. We will delete them within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law.

Security

All traffic between the app, our server, Google and Razorpay is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to our server data is restricted.

Children

Ledgx is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
