Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Ledgx at ledgx.app ("Ledgx", "we", "us"). By signing in or using Ledgx, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Ledgx.

1. What Ledgx is

Ledgx is a personal finance tracker. It helps you record and review your own income, expenses, EMIs, lending and savings goals. Ledgx is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, does not hold or move your money, and does not give financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Figures and suggestions in the app, including from the spend assistant, are for information only. Make your own decisions, and talk to a qualified professional where needed.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live, to use Ledgx.

3. Your data

Your financial records belong to you. They are stored on your device and, if you choose, backed up to your own Google Drive. Because they are stored on your device, clearing your browser data or losing your device can delete them permanently if you haven't backed them up. You are responsible for keeping backups. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.

4. Free trial and subscription

• New accounts get a 30-day free trial with full access.
• After the trial, continued access costs ₹300 for one year, paid through Razorpay. Prices include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Each payment covers one year. You are not charged automatically. To continue after a year, you pay again. Paying before your current year ends adds a year on top of the time you have left.
• If your access lapses, the app stops working until you subscribe. Records already on your device are not deleted.
• We may change the price in future. A change will not affect a year you have already paid for, and we will show the new price before you pay.

5. Refunds

Because you can try Ledgx free for 30 days before paying, payments are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error or charged twice, email support@ledgx.app within 7 days of the payment and we will refund the incorrect charge. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Razorpay, usually within 5–7 working days. Nothing in this section limits refund rights you have under applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Ledgx. For example, don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, get around the subscription, access other people's accounts, or use Ledgx for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

7. Google services

Sign-in and Drive backups use Google services, which are covered by Google's own terms. Ledgx is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Ledgx running and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features over time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions made using Ledgx, or for loss of data stored on your device. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Ledgx at any time. To have your account deleted, email support@ledgx.app. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Ledgx after an update, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
